Phoenix Yellow was one of the standard colors for the then previous generation M3, the E46. There was no yellow color available from standard on the E9X M3s so owners had to go to Individual for it.
This is one of the rarest colors on the E92 M3 as there are only 2 cars worldwide painted in this color, it even has a special plaque on the inside noting this fact.
