Giallo Fly is a historic Ferrari color that first appeared on the 275 GTB around 1969.

It's unclear where exactly the name of the bright yellow paint came from but it's believed to have been a suggestion by Fiamma Breschi. In her biography she takes credit for the color Giallo Fly, claiming it was her suggestion. Ferrari refused to name the color "Giallo Fiamma" ("Flame Yellow" in Italian), so the name became Giallo Fly instead.

Since then a newer version called Nuovo Giallo Fly has also been created.
