This pre-LCI BMW M4 is the only known example finished in BMW Individual Steel Grey, a color previously offered on the E46 M3, where it was already a relatively uncommon choice.
According to the owner, the car was originally ordered as a dealer demonstrator, making the unusual paint selection all the more interesting.
It's perhaps not all that surprising that Steel Grey remained a one-off on the F82, as it very closely resembles the standard range Mineral Grey Metallic available on the M4.
