Sepia

Sepia is a unique dark blue metallic paint by BMW that has been around for quite a while, featuring on cars like the E38 7 Series and E39 5 Series in the 90s. It has been relatively popular and featured on various models since then as an Individual paint option, until it was replaced by Sepia II and more recently moved on to Sepia III as of late 2025.

The paint has a unique hue that shifts in color depending on lighting conditions and angle it's viewed. It's a mainly dark blue / purple tone with a brighter bronze / green metallic flake.
