Le Mans Blue

Le Mans Blue is an iconic BMW shade, named after the Le Mans 24h race where BMW has won in 1999. In the past BMW paint colors were quite commonly named after racetracks (for example: Silverstone, Imola Red, Laguna Seca Blue, Estoril Blue, ...).

In the sea of Blue BMW paints, Le Mans Blue can be placed between Tanzanite Blue, which is a bit darker than Le Mans, and Estoril Blue, which is brighter. It's comparible to Avus Blue but with a bit more depth.
