Cobalt Blue

Cobalt Blue is an older Audi paint dating back to the early 2000s featuring on the original Q7 and having been available on various models up through the 2010s. It's currently still available but only as an Audi Exclusive option.

Cobalt Blue is a very dark shade of blue leaning towards black only really showing the blue tone through its metallic flake under some brighter lighting.

As of 2023 it was made available on the Cayenne as a PTS option along with a bunch of Audi paints. Although Porsche has given it a different name, 89 Cobalt Blue Metallic, in order to prevent confusion with their own Cobalt Blue paint.
