Blue Ridge Mountain

Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic is a modern BMW paint named after the Blue Ridge Mountains, part of the Appalachian range in the eastern United States, famous for their distinctive blue haze when seen from a distance. The color was first introduced in 2019 on the G20 3 Series as part of the standard color range. Since then, it has also been offered on a variety of models including the i3, X5, X7, and iX.

Positioned as a welcome alternative to the predominantly grey, black, and white palette in BMW's base offerings, Blue Ridge Mountain remains a relatively uncommon choice among buyers.

It's a relatively light shade of blue with a noticeable green undertone, in certain lighting the color can even show some grey tones. When seen in direct sunlight this paint showcases a rich and bright metallic flake which can accentuate the body lines of the car. It reminds us a bit of an older Individual color Atlantic Blue.
