Atacama Yellow

Atacama Yellow is a shade of yellow named after, and inspired by the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. It's a warm yellow tone with subtle orange undertones reminiscent of the extraordinary colors of the desert in the evening light. 

Originally introduced by BMW, this color entered Porsche's palette through an individual customer request using the Paint to Sample Plus process. More recently, as part of the 2023 update, it has been made available on the 911 and Taycan as an Approved PTS color.

When comparing it to other yellow Porsche colors, it's comparable to Speed Yellow but Atacama has a more orange hue to it, although not as orange as Signal Yellow.
