Albert Blue is a classic Porsche paint color that originated in the early 1970s. Known for its rich, deep blue tone and highly valued by collectors today due to its historical connection to the brand, Albert Blue has seen a resurgence in popularity through Porsche's Paint to Sample (PTS) program.
Availability and color codes have changed throughout the years. It was first offered on the Porsche 911, including both the Targa and Coupé models, under paint codes 1810 and 1818 in 1970. The color reappeared in 1972 with the 911 (under the code 325) and later in 1978 with the Porsche 928 (code 387). The version that's currently available through PTS is paint code 325.
It's a non-metallic dark blue paint, a bit brighter and more saturated than Dark Sea Blue.
