Nimbus Grey vs Nardo Grey

Nimbus Grey and Nardo Grey are both grey paints offered by Audi and easily told apart from one another.

Seen here on the Audi Q8, Nimbus Grey is the darker shade of the two and it also has a pearlescent / metallic finish giving it more depth. It’s a medium grey with a slightly warm undertone, giving the coupe-styled SUV a more elegant and refined presence. The metallic particles add depth and sophistication, complementing the Q8’s premium, design-focused positioning.

By contrast, the Audi Q7 seen here in Nardo Grey, a flat, solid grey without metallic sparkle and its also much lighter in tone. Nardo has become something of a cult color within the Audi Sport lineup, making it a very popular choice and the more common one of the two to come across.
