Crayon vs Fashion Grey

Crayon or Chalk (Kreide in German) very closely ressembles the historic Porsche paint Fashion Grey. It takes a trained eye to tell them apart but seen here side by side the differences are highlighted.

The newer Crayon paint seen here on the 991.2 GT3 is just a tad lighter while Fashion Grey (GT3 RS) is a bit warmer in tone.

Since Crayon was introduced it has been very popular but at the same time it hase made Fashion Grey Porsche's even rarer since owners need to be a very big fan of the color in order to justify spending that much more for the PTS paint option.
