The Lamborghini Centenario Roadster is the open-top counterpart to the Centenario Coupé, unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2016 as part of the same 100th anniversary project celebrating Ferruccio Lamborghini. Like the coupé, it is based on the Aventador platform and was conceived as a technological and design statement rather than a conventional production model.
It retains the same naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 producing 770 hp, paired with the ISR transmission, all-wheel drive, and rear-wheel steering. Despite the absence of a fixed roof, extensive use of carbon fiber allowed Lamborghini to preserve rigidity and performance, with only a minimal weight increase over the coupé.
Production of the Centenario Roadster was limited to just 20 examples worldwide, all of which were sold out before official presentation.
