The Chiron Super Sport is Bugatti’s long-tail, high-speed evolution of the Chiron family introduced in 2021. It uses the brand’s 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine tuned to about 1,600 PS (≈1,577 hp) and is aerodynamically revised with an elongated rear section, enlarged air curtains and vents, and a reworked diffuser to prioritize high-speed stability and low drag. It can be seen as a more "standard" version of the 300+ world record car.
Customer deliveries began in early 2022, with the first car handed over in April 2022. Total production for the Super Sport family is around 70–80 units. The series includes L’Ultime, the last Chiron derivative and the final vehicle to use Bugatti’s W16, likely marking the end of this engine layout in production cars.
