BMW X5 M G05 LCI

The BMW G05 X5 M LCI is the facelifted version of BMW’s high-performance X5 M, introduced for the 2024 model year alongside the updated G05 X5 range. It continues the second generation of BMW’s performance SUV, combining the practicality of the X5 with the performance focus and engineering of BMW M.

The LCI update brought subtle exterior changes, including redesigned headlights, updated taillights, revised bumper styling, and new wheel designs. Inside, the biggest change was the introduction of BMW’s curved display setup with the latest iDrive system, replacing the previous separate instrument cluster and infotainment screen.

The X5 M LCI retained the twin-turbocharged V8 performance of its predecessor, while receiving updates to its chassis and drivetrain systems to further improve its balance between performance and everyday usability.

From a paint perspective, the X5 M LCI introduced Isle of Man Green Metallic as its main communication color. Previously known from the G80 BMW M3, the vivid green shade became available on the X5 M, highlighting the more expressive side of BMW M’s color palette.

Production of the G05 X5 M LCI continued until the end of the G05 generation, with the model later making way for the next-generation X5 range.
