The Porsche 992.1 GT3 is the seventh-generation GT3 model, introduced in 2021 as a track-focused yet road-legal iteration of the 911. Building on the legendary GT lineage, the 992.1 GT3 combines high-revving naturally aspirated performance with modern driving dynamics and advanced aerodynamics.
Powered by a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, it produces 502 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, accelerating from 0-60 mph in just over 3.4 seconds.
The 992.1 GT3 introduced significant updates over the 991.2 GT3, including a mid-mounted rear wing with active aerodynamics, enhanced chassis and suspension geometry, and a lightweight construction with extensive use of aluminum and composites. The design reflects Porsche’s motorsport heritage while offering everyday usability for the road.
Production started in 2021 and continued until late 2024, when it was succeeded by the 992.2 GT3.
Standard paint options included popular choices like the newly introduced communication color Shark Blue but also classic Porsche colors like Carrara White, Jet Black, Guards Red, GT Silver Metallic, Racing Yellow and more giving buyers a range of classic and bold 911 colors with additional options being available through Porsche Exclusive customization.
