Porsche launches “Icons of Latin America” with one-off 911 GT3 “Ocelot”

Porsche Latin America has unveiled the first creation in its new Icons of Latin America series: a 911 GT3 Touring known as the “Ocelot.” Developed through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program, the one-off model celebrates the region’s diversity and craftsmanship while marking two milestones: 25 years of Porsche Latin America and 30 years of Autoelite as the brand’s Colombian importer.

Icons of Latin America: A regional tribute

Icons of Latin America is more than a design initiative, it’s a creative homage to the people, landscapes, and cultures that define the region. Each vehicle in the series will be locally inspired, combining Porsche’s engineering excellence with motifs drawn from Latin America’s heritage.

The debut model, the 911 GT3 “Ocelot,” takes its cues from Colombia’s Amazon rainforest, translating its biodiversity and vitality into color, texture, and form. It represents the first of many bespoke tributes to come.

Exterior: Shades of the Rainforest

The exterior of the Ocelot is finished in Paint to Sample Forest Green Metallic (2B4), a deep, complex hue that captures the layered greens of the rainforest canopy. Depending on the light, it transitions from rich emerald tones to muted olive shadows, mirroring the forest’s living texture. Contrasting elements in Centenaire Silver can be found on the mirror housings, door handles, rear intake surrounds, and rear “Porsche” script to provide a modern yet nostalgic touch, reminiscent of the polished metal detailing seen on early 911s.
The theme continues on the 20/21-inch forged wheels, painted in Forest Green Metallic with fine Centenaire Silver accents.

Interior: Inspired by the Ocelot

The cabin design translates the ocelot’s distinctive beauty into Porsche’s signature craftsmanship. The dominant Cohiba Brown leather recalls the animal’s warm golden tones, while the seat centers in Pepita fabric: a mix of Truffle Brown, Black, and Cream White, reflect its spotted coat pattern. The attention to texture and contrast creates an interior that feels tactile, natural, and deeply connected to its inspiration.

On the headrests, an embossed ocelot silhouette offers a subtle tribute to Colombian wildlife. The design was modeled after road signs found in Colombia’s Amazon region, which warn of wild animals crossing. It’s a thoughtful detail showcasing Porsche’s design precision.

Craftsmanship in every detail

Throughout the cabin, nearly every surface is wrapped in leather, from the dashboard and air vent slats to the Sport Chrono clock housing. Stitching in Truffle Brown and Crema creates a layered warmth that complements the car’s earthy tones. Illuminated door sill guards commemorate both anniversaries, with “30 Años de Autoelite” and “25 Años de Porsche Latin America” inscriptions on either side, marking the car’s dual purpose as a celebration and a symbol of heritage.

The luggage compartment even receives bespoke treatment, trimmed in Cohiba Brown leather with Pepita fabric inserts that mirror the interior. The craftsmanship extends to the smallest details, underscoring the care that defines Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program.

The Icons of Latin America series

The 911 GT3 “Ocelot” was developed through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch programme, which enables the creation of highly individualised one-off vehicles. Working closely with Porsche Latin America and Autoelite Colombia, the Sonderwunsch team in Zuffenhausen translated the project’s concept into a production-ready vehicle that reflects the region’s identity and heritage.

This collaboration demonstrates how Sonderwunsch extends beyond individual customisation, serving as a platform for cultural and regional expression within the Porsche portfolio. The result is a bespoke model that combines design, craftsmanship, and storytelling in a structured and technically precise way.

As the first model in the new Icons of Latin America series, the GT3 “Ocelot” marks the beginning of an ongoing initiative. Future projects within this series will highlight other countries across the region, each interpreted through unique colour palettes and material combinations. We will continue to follow the developments of this programme as additional models are unveiled.
