Imperial Blue is one of the lesser seen standard paints on the F10 M5. It was available from the standard paint range as one of 2 blue paint options, the other being the much lighter Monte Carlo Blue which was used as main communication color for the car.
As seen in these images Imperial Blue takes on a different hue depending on the angle and lighting going from a relatively vibrant blue in the sun to a near black shade of dark blue from other angles.
