According to the legend, a customer requested a green unlike anything the company had previously developed and pointed to the dress she was wearing as the perfect reference. When asked for a sample, she reportedly removed the dress on the spot and left it behind, inspiring the creation of the color. The episode was considered so outrageous at the time that the shade was named Verde Scandal in tribute to the incident.

Visually, the color is extremely vivid and energetic, with a yellow undertone that becomes even more pronounced in direct sunlight. Its bold character has made it a popular choice on countless Lamborghini models over the decades, from classic cars to modern supercars.
