Traffic Purple

Traffic Purple is a bold Volkswagen color that originates from the standardized RAL color system (RAL 4006), which is also where it got its “Traffic Purple” name. The shade found its way into the automotive world through Volkswagen’s Spektrum Program for the Mk7.5 Golf R, where it became one of the most eye-catching and rare options offered.

Its name Traffic Purple is quite interesting as this non-metallic paint really is more of a pink hue with a purple / magenta undertone, but it surely stands out against more traditional automotive finishes.

Audi later adopted Traffic Purple within its Audi Exclusive program, but it remains quite uncommon to see.
