There are two paint codes available for Solar Yellow. This is due to the fact a new paint system, Cromax Pro (an activated water based coat) was introduced for certain paints as of May 2010, noted by the 'C' prefix. Prior paints will wear the 'B' prefix in their paint code. |

Solar Yellow is a Lotus paint which has been available on most models since the early 2000s. It serves as a contemporary take on their heritage yellow color and is currently available on the standard range of their electric models (Eletre and Emeya) but exclusively on the higher specifications.
Solar Yellow is a four-coat pearlescent paint and is quite a bit lighter in tone compared to for example Hethel Yellow which has more of an orange undertone.
