Solar Orange

Audi Solar Orange is a bright and energetic solid orange paint, originally introduced around 2006 under the name Glut Orange. The color gained recognition on models like the Audi TT, S3, and later the RS range, where its vivid, almost fluorescent tone emphasized the cars’ dynamic design.

Unlike metallic or pearlescent finishes, Solar Orange is a pure solid color that appears warm and glowing under direct light, shifting to a deeper amber tone in softer conditions.

In later years, Glut Orange was officially renamed Solar Orange, though the two are effectively identical. Both share the same paint code and bold hue with a subtle yellow undertone, making it one of Audi’s more striking and memorable paint options.
