Shadow Black

Shadow Black is a deep, glossy black finish introduced by Ford in the mid 2010s. At first glance it reads as an inky, mirror like black, but in direct sunlight it reveals an extremely fine blue metallic flake that gives the paint a cooler, more dimensional look.

Often specified on performance and premium Ford models like the Ford GT and Mustang, Shadow Black (like all deep blacks) rewards careful maintenance, proper wash techniques and paint protection to keep the finish looking its best and minimise swirl marks.
