Sepia Brown

Sepia Brown is a historic Porsche color, originally introduced in the 1960s and 1970s on the 911 and 912 models. This rich, earthy shade is available nowadays through Porsche’s Paint to Sample (PTS) program for modern vehicles.

Inspired by the tones of vintage sepia photography, Sepia Brown features a muted brown base with subtle yellow-orange undertones. This classic hue delivers a warm, retro aesthetic that adds timeless character and sophistication to any Porsche model. The color derives its name and tone from the sepia pigment, traditionally made from squid ink and used in watercolor painting.

Historically, Sepia Brown has been offered under multiple Porsche paint codes, including R8007, 6836, 7474, 7410, and the current code 415 which was used both in the early 1970s and again in modern PTS offerings.
