Rosso Mars is a vivid pearl-effect red introduced by Lamborghini in the early 2010s, notably debuting on the Aventador LP700-4 at its 2011 launch. The color was developed within the Volkswagen Group and is shared with Audi, where it’s known as Misano Red (Pearl Effect).
The paint combines a vibrant and saturated red base with fine pearl mica particles, giving it exceptional depth and a bright reflective quality under sunlight. Rosso Mars quickly became one of Lamborghini’s most recognizable standard colors of the 2010s, used across models such as the Huracán, Aventador, and Gallardo LP560-4. It's still available as a popular standard paint option today.
