Progressive Red

Progressive Red Metallic is Audi’s most recent interpretation of a bright metallic red. It carries a fine metallic flake and a fairly neutral red base, which keeps the color looking crisp and vibrant. In direct light, the metallic gives it a subtle sparkle, but it doesn’t introduce a strong orange or copper shift.

When comparing it to Tango Red metallic, one of Audi's more well known red paints, Tango has a slightly warmer character. The metallic structure and base tone can lean subtly toward a coppery or bronze hue in strong sunlight, which can make it appear a touch richer or warmer than Progressive. The difference isn’t dramatic but side by side, Tango tends to feel a bit deeper and warmer, while Progressive reads a little cleaner and more straightforward.

Progressive Red is most commonly seen on modern S and RS models where it emphasizes sharp lines and  provides great contrast to the black trim elements.
