Peru Red

Peru Red is a warm, earthy non-metallic red introduced by Porsche in the early 1970s. Originally described as “Brick Red,” the color sits between red and brown, with clear rust-toned undertones. Its natural, grounded appearance was inspired by the deep red soils and traditional textiles of Peru, which share the same muted, organic hue.

The paint is most closely associated with the G-model 911, where it became one of the standout paint options of the era. Depending on lighting, Peru Red can appear as a deep, subdued red or shift toward a brighter red-orange, giving it a distinctive vintage character.
