Night Blue

Night Blue Metallic is a deep, elegant shade of blue that has been part of BMW’s color range since the late 1990s (first appearing on the E38 7 Series) and still available as an Individual option today. It features a dark navy tone that reveals vibrant blue metallic highlights under direct light while appearing almost black in the shade.

It's a very confusing color as BMW sometimes also refers to it as Midnight Blue Metallic, though it should not be confused with Nachtblau Metallic (040) or Midnight Blue. Both are distinct shades with slightly different undertones.

Seeing as it's quite a generic name, there's also a lot of other brands that offer paints with the same name and even though they might look quite similar they'll have their own unique paint mixture.
