Night Blue

Night Blue Metallic is a deep, elegant shade of blue that has been part of BMW’s color range since the late 1990s (first appearing on the E38 7 Series) and still available as an Individual option today. It features a dark navy tone that reveals subtle metallic highlights under direct light while appearing almost black in the shade.

It's a very confusing color as BMW sometimes also refers to it as Midnight Blue Metallic, though it should not be confused with Nachtblau Metallic (040) or Midnight Blue. Both are distinct shades with slightly different undertones. Other German brands Porsche and Audi also offer paints with the same name but it's unclear if they are actually identical.
