Monterey Blue

Monterey Blue is a historic Lamborghini paint color introduced in the late 1990s on the Diablo SV Monterey Edition. This limited edition celebrated the achievements of Lamborghini Orange County, then a top-performing dealer and main U.S. importer for the brand. It takes its name from Monterey, California, home to the renowned Monterey Car Week.

Both colors introduced on the Diablo SV Monterey Edition were later discontinued after the dealership’s owner, Vik Keuylian, defrauded Volkswagen Credit Inc. for $12 million in 2008. The popular Monterey Blue paint was since renamed to Blu Nethuns.
