Merlin

Merlin, often referred to as Merlin Purple, is an Audi paint color named after the magician Merlin. It’s a dark, rich shade of purple with subtle blue undertones, positioned between deep plum and blackberry in tone. As a metallic finish, it features a shimmer that enhances depth and creates a dynamic visual effect under varying lighting conditions.

Darker and more saturated than shades like lavender or lilac, Merlin Purple stands out for its bold yet refined appearance. It's one of Audi’s most recognized purple paints and gained additional exposure when it was added to Porsche’s Paint to Sample (PTS) program for the Cayenne in 2023, as one of several Audi-exclusive colors that were added to the Porsche palette.
