Ipanema Blue Metallic is a light turquoise blue paint by Porsche first seen in 2012 when it featured on the 997.2 generation 911 as a Special Color (Sonderfarbe) although it was very rarely optioned.
Recently the color has picked up in popularity now being available as a PTS color on modern Porsches.
It gets its name from the Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
