Golf Blue

Golf Blue is a historic non-metallic paint color that originally appeared as a special color for Volkswagen before being adopted by Porsche in the mid-1960s. It was offered on early models such as the Porsche 911 and 912 (F models), making it one of the classic Porsche color options from that era.

The color is a medium blue not be confused with the better-known Gulf Blue which is much lighter in tone. While both names may reference the Gulf of Mexico, Golf Blue predates Gulf Blue and has a deeper, more subdued tone.

Though not all that common today, Golf Blue remains a notable example of Porsche's early use of shared Volkswagen color palettes, reflecting the close relationship between the two brands during that time.
