Gold Bronze Metallic
Gold Bronze Metallic is a modern Porsche color, it was first introduced on the 997 Turbo S 10 Year Anniversary Edition back in 2010. Nowadays it's available as a Paint to Sample color but has been discontinued on the 718 and 992.
Here's how Porsche describes the paint:
The colour Goldbronzemetallic was inspired by the alloy 'gold bronze'. The luxurious hue exudes a sense of richness and warmth, making it a popular choice for high-quality finishes. It is a warm metallic colour that combines shades of gold and bronze.
Goldbronzemetallic was implemented due to a customer request as part of the Paint to Sample Plus process and was later incorporated into the Paint to Sample programme.
Goldbronzemetallic is a mix of a yellow-brown golden tone and light bronze tones with a silver sheen. The specific shade has a golden yellow base as well as copper undertones, giving vehicles a bronze-like appearance. In bright sunlight, Goldbronzemetallic can appear sparkling, almost luminous, while in dimmer light it can take on a more muted and sophisticated appearance.
To celebrate Porsche’s 10th anniversary in China in 2011, the limited market edition 'Porsche 911 Turbo S 10 Years Anniversary Edition' was produced. Ten examples of the 530 PS sports car were made available to selected Chinese customers – with the paintwork in the Paint to Sample colour Goldbronzemetallic.
