Gentian Blue

Gentian Blue was introduced on the 992 911, replacing the lighter Sapphire Blue. It has since become available throughout nearly the whole model range as a 'Special Color' on the standard paint range and proves to be quite popular.

On pictures and under certain lighting it might look similar to BMW's San Marino Blue, which we've seen appear quite frequently as a PTS option on modern Porsches, but Gentian is quite a bit darker while San Marino has a slightly more purple undertone.
