Flintgrau

Flintgrau is a bespoke McLaren MSO finish which is only very rarely seen. It first appeared on P1 #170 in 2015 but can also be found on a 675LT and Senna.

It's a cool, steel-grey metallic shade with very subtle blue tone in the metallic flake, which is only really noticeable in direct sunlight.

Apparently the color finds its roots in McLaren’s Formula One involvement with Mercedes-Benz during the 1990s, the SLR McLaren road car, and perhaps most famously, the Sultan of Brunei’s CLK GTR Roadster (chassis 32).
