Firmament Blue

Firmament Blue is a modern Audi color introduced in 2021 as one of the new colors for the A8. It later trickled down to the standard paint range of other models like the A6 and is still available on a handful of models today in 2025 although it is gradually being phased out for newer shades of blue.

This color features a deep blue base with a bright blue glow from its metallic flake, giving it a refined yet striking appearance.

The name Firmament likely refers to the celestial barrier that separates the heavenly waters above from the Earth below defined in ancient cosmology and known as a synonym for sky or heaven today.
