BMW Diamond, also known under its German name Diamant Metallic, is a rare metallic finish introduced in the mid-2000s and primarily offered through BMW’s Individual program. The name “Diamant” (German for “diamond”) reflects its shimmering, jewel-like appearance, created by a dense metallic flake content that produces a striking sparkle under sunlight.
The shade itself sits between light silver and a warm champagne tone, giving it a versatile character. Resulting in a vibrant appearance in brighter light, while in shade it shifts toward a more understated silver-beige hue.
Diamant Metallic was never part of BMW’s standard color palette, meaning it appeared only on special order cars often higher-end models like the 7 Series, 6 Series, or M cars commissioned through BMW Individual making it very seldomly seen.
