Deep Emerald Green

Deep Emerald Green is a dark metallic green paint that Ford used primarily during the 1990s, most notably across performance and mainstream models in North America. It is a deep, jewel-toned green with a fine metallic flake, designed to appear understated in shade while revealing richness and depth in direct light.

Under sunlight, Deep Emerald Green shows a classic emerald character with subtle highlights, while in low light it can read almost black or very dark forest green. The metallic content is restrained rather than flashy, aligning with the more conservative, elegant color trends of the era.

The color is best known from 1990s Ford Mustangs (SN95 era), as well as select sedans and SUVs of the period, where it offered a darker and more refined alternative to brighter greens. Compared to later Ford greens, Deep Emerald Green leans more traditional, with less blue influence and a warmer, more organic tone.
