Dani Blue
Dani Blue is a Porsche color created through the Paint to Sample Plus programme by Jorge Carnicero, a car collector and horse breeder from Kentucky (USA).
Whilst configuring his 911 S/T, he asked the experts at Porsche to create a unique shade of blue that fits the character of the limited run sports car. They went through an elaborate process landing on Enamel Blue (a color from the Porsche 901 sports coupé from 1964) as one of the early favorites from the selected paint frogs.
The team at Porsche then went on to modernize this color and in the process made it “a little more colourful, more intense and darker, but not too loud”.
Carnicero was very satisfied with the color that was developed and promptly named it Dani Blue after Daniela Milošević, the Colour & Trim designer that worked on it together with her collegues.
