Coloured Gold Metallic is a rare BMW Individual paint with a distinctive metallic finish. Despite its name the color actually leans more towards orange and copper rather than traditional gold. It was offered for only a few years in the early 2000s, making it a rare find across the BMW range.
The color is rumored to have been discontinued due to inconsistencies in its appearance between different paint batches. However, this explanation has not been officially confirmed.
