Chili Red III is the latest evolution of MINI’s long-standing Chili Red paint, a color closely associated with the brand’s sporty identity since the 2000s.
Visually, Chili Red III is a vivid, solid red with a clean, high-saturation finish. It sits brighter and more contemporary than traditional darker reds, maintaining a strong visual presence without metallic flake. Compared to earlier Chili Red iterations, the third version appears slightly richer and more uniform under varied lighting conditions.
More recently, Chili Red III has expanded beyond MINI and has become available through the BMW Individual program, marking a crossover of a MINI heritage color into BMW’s bespoke paint catalogue. While it's quite common to find colors from other brands within the BMW Group on the Individual catalog, it's mainly Rolls-Royce colors. MINI colors are less frequent but we've also seen Legend Grey II being made available.
