Cardinal Red is a darker red metallic by Mercedes-Benz still offered on their models today.
The red paint has a bronze metallic flake which can make the color look slightly orange in pictures taken in bright conditions.
NOTE: Cardinal Red is only used for the North American market as this same exact paint is otherwise known as Hyacinth Red for the rest of the world.
