Calypso Green
Calypso Green is a bright, high-impact metallic green from Ford’s late-1990s and early-2000s color palette, a period known for bold, expressive finishes.
The color is best known for its use on performance and sport-oriented Ford models of that era, most notably the 1999–2001 Mustang "Fox Body", where it became one of the car’s most recognizable launch and promotional colors. The paint features a vivid green base combined with a strong silver metallic flake, giving it a highly reflective, almost liquid appearance in sunlight.
In tone, Calypso Green is much lighter and more vibrant than traditional British-style racing greens, leaning toward a fresh, almost tropical green rather than a dark or muted shade. Under direct light it appears bright and energetic, while in overcast conditions it settles into a cleaner, cooler green with visible metallic sparkle.
