Bleu Wimille
Bleu Wimille was first unveiled in 2013 on the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse “Jean-Pierre Wimille”, one of six models in the exclusive Les Légendes de Bugatti series. Only three examples of this edition were produced, honoring Jean-Pierre Wimille, the celebrated French racing driver who secured Bugatti’s victory at the 1937 24 Hours of Le Mans in the iconic Type 57G “Tank.”
The color itself, Bleu Wimille, is a striking shade of light metallic blue inspired by the French racing blue worn by Bugatti’s historic Grand Prix cars. It captures the elegance and racing heritage of Bugatti’s pre-war era while appearing modern and dynamic on the Veyron’s sculpted carbon fiber bodywork.
