Audrain Green Metallic

Audrain Green Metallic is a vibrant metallic dark green created through the Porsche Paint to Sample Plus program for the Audrain Automobile Museum. Originally commissioned for a Porsche 911 GT3, it took over 3.5 years to develop, because it must undergo extensive testing for durability, UV resistance, and reproducibility, ensuring it meets Porsche’s strict factory standards. Following its debut, it was officially added to the Paint to Sample palette in 2024, where it remains available for new 911 and Taycan orders.

The color was inspired by the logo of the Audrain Auto Museum and Dark Teal Metallic from the classic Porsche 356, one of the brand’s earliest metallic finishes. It was developed in collaboration with Rod Emory, founder of Emory Motorsports, who provided the original color sample to Porsche. The resulting shade is a rich, blue-green metallic that shifts character between teal and emerald depending on lighting, echoing both Porsche heritage and modern craftsmanship.
