MSO Colour Stream

McLaren’s Colour Stream finishes are some of the most visually dramatic paint technologies offered by MSO (McLaren Special Operations). Part of McLaren’s ultra-exclusive multi-stage pearlescent paint program, Colour Stream paints are defined by their strong color-shifting properties, moving fluidly between multiple hues depending on viewing angle and light. Unlike traditional metallic or pearl paints, Colour Stream finishes use optically active pigments to create deep, iridescent transitions that can span two, three, or even four distinct colors.

McLaren offers various different Colour Stream paints, with each variant offering its own unique set of tones. These finishes are known for their high-intensity flip, exceptional depth, and the way they dramatically highlight McLaren’s sculpted carbon-fiber bodywork.

Introduced and developed through MSO’s most exclusive commissions, Colour Stream paints have appeared on various of McLaren models, including the 675LT, MSO HS, Senna, Sabre, Elva, and 765LT. Both normally painted and in tinted carbon fiber forms. Because of their complexity, each Colour Stream finish requires extensive manual application and is available only through MSO’s bespoke program.
