Smoked Topaz vs Brass

Smoked Topaz vs Brass or Rauchtopas vs Messing in German. These two don't really have much in common other than the fact that the appearance of both drastically changes when seen under direct sunlight.

Seen here in overcast conditions which perhaps brings them a bit closer together visually. They both contain a certain bronze tone with Smoked Topaz clearly being darker having a mainly dark brown appearance while Brass is a more true bronze leaning towards a rather green-ish gold like Brass: the alloy of copper and zinc which it was inspired by.

Which one would be your preferred choice?
