Jet Black Metallic vs Volcano Grey Metallic

Jet Black Metallic and Volcano Grey Metallic, quite possibly the two most popular color choices for the new Panamera and two very popular Porsche colors in general.

Unlike some of our other comparisons these two are obviously easily distinguishable from one another with one being black and the other grey. What's perhaps the most interesting about this comparison is how close the dark grey metallic of Volcano Grey is to black. In darker conditions the grey can appear very much black from afar. Under the sun on the other hand these two are set apart more due the metallic flake lighting up the Volcano Grey paint more.
