BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 G82

The BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 is a limited-edition tribute to nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi, celebrating his 46th birthday with 2 times 46 individually numbered cars, totaling to just 92. Personally designed in collaboration with Rossi, the model blends BMW M performance with motorsport-inspired styling and exclusive BMW Individual paints.

Built at BMW Plant Dingolfing, the Edition VR46 is available in two unique versions — Sport and Style — each featuring a distinct color scheme inspired by Rossi’s iconic visuals.

• Sport pairs Marina Bay Blue Metallic with a darker Tanzanite Blue “46” graphic.
• Style inverts the look with Frozen Tanzanite Blue Metallic and a Frozen Marina Bay Blue “46”.

Both versions include striking yellow accents across the grille, brake calipers, and detailing as a nod to Rossi’s racing colors, while the carbon-fibre roof bears his signature and the large VR46 logo.

Inside, the cabin features Night Blue and Black Merino leather, Sao Paulo Yellow Alcantara accents, and VR46 branding throughout. Each car carries a unique “1 of 46” plaque.

Power comes from the 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six, delivering 550 hp (405 kW) via M xDrive and an 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox. Performance matches its exclusivity — 0–100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 302 km/h.

Owners also receive an exclusive experience in Italy, including a private visit to Rossi’s VR46 Motor Ranch in Tavullia and a BMW M Driving Experience at Misano Circuit.

A celebration of both BMW M engineering and Valentino Rossi’s legendary racing legacy, the M4 CS Edition VR46 is the most expensive M4 and perhaps one of the most distinctive and collectible modern M cars to date.
