Revealed in August 2023 at Monterey Car Week, the Aston Martin DB12 Volante is the open-top evolution of Aston Martin’s new “Super Tourer.” Building on the foundation of the DB12 Coupe, the Volante combines breathtaking performance with the exhilaration of roof-down driving.
The car retains the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 680 hp and 800 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Performance remains astonishing: the Volante accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325 km/h, nearly identical to the Coupe. A reinforced chassis, adaptive dampers, and electronic rear differential ensure the Volante delivers the same dynamic precision, while offering an additional layer of emotional engagement with the wind in your hair.
The Volante’s fabric roof has been engineered for both elegance and practicality, folding in 14 seconds and raising in 16 seconds, even at speeds of up to 50 km/h. Available in multiple colors, the roof design preserves the DB12’s sleek proportions whether open or closed.
