The 992-generation 911 Turbo was introduced in March 2020, followed shortly after by the more powerful Turbo S. Production began in mid-2020 at Porsche’s Zuffenhausen plant. As with every new generation, the 992 Turbo carried forward the model’s reputation as the ultimate everyday supercar by blending supercar performance, grand touring comfort, and daily usability.
At its heart lies a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six, producing 572 hp in the standard Turbo and paired with an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. This setup launches the car from 0–100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, making it quicker than many exotics while remaining remarkably practical.
Design-wise, the 992 Turbo is noticeably wider than the Carrera models, with active aerodynamics, larger air intakes, and a deployable rear wing. Compared to the 991.2, the 992 brought a broader stance, new LED lighting, and a more refined yet aggressive look. Inside, it features Porsche’s latest PCM infotainment system, digital driver’s display, and premium materials, blending luxury with motorsport-inspired touches.
